Thomas ~ Classic Baby Boy Newborn Photos

Isn’t it amazing how fast our children grow?! I love that newborn portraits created by a professional newborn photographer have become a trend so parents can recall those precious newborn features forever. When my little ones were born, I remember being so mesmerized by those very tiny hands. I just wanted to hold them in my palms and never let them go. But they grow quickly into imaginative, creative explorers in the blink of an eye. I am so glad I can still pull out their photos to remember those days of cuddles and coos. It’s fun to show the images to my kids, now that they’re just a little older, and show them how adorable they looked right after they were born.

Timeless Portraits of this Sweet Babe

This snuggle bug was such a peaceful snoozer! Baby Thomas came to my studio at just six days old, born at 8 pounds 4 ounces and 22 inches long. Oh my, what a handsome little man he is. His gender reveal didn’t occur until he arrived, so Mom wanted to do some very simple, timeless images that focused on baby Thomas and all of his perfect features.

As he slept soundly, we laid him upon a soft, cream-colored blanket. He looked so sweet snuggled on his tummy. Check out those adorable newborn wrinkles! Don’t you just want to reach out and touch that super soft baby skin? Next, we used a light blue swaddle, making sure his tiny fingers peeked out. I always try to capture close-ups of those newborn fingers and toes. At the end, we placed him in a warm onesie, and he looked like a little teddy bear dreaming away on his bed. He was happy as could be through it all.

Thomas was such a sweetie to capture. I loved putting together this collection for their family to enjoy for years to come. Welcome, little one! I can’t wait to see you grow.
