Newborn Photos Full of Personality ~ Ridhaan

I was looking forward to this adorable Indian newborn baby boy’s photoshoot well in advance. I met Mom and Dad at Mom’s maternity shoot, and Mom wanted some beautifully creative and one-of-a-kind portraits. I had so much fun creating her dream maternity photos, and not only did she love them, but her family and friends raved about them too. After all that glowing feedback, she couldn’t wait for Ridhaan’s newborn session.

Many of the newborns that I photograph are showing small hints of their personality, but for the most part, they’re doing what newborns do best: sleeping and eating. After all, growing is their full-time job, and that takes a lot of fuel and rest.

Sweet Personality Baby Pictures

Little Ridhaan, though, was the exact opposite! He was so full of personality throughout his session. He’s such a sweet and silly little boy, and I was so glad to be able to capture his sweet personality in his baby pictures. Toward the end of his session, though, all that silliness started to wear him out, and he finally let himself enjoy a nap. It turned out to be the perfect session because I was able to capture plenty of Ridhaan’s amazing little personality while also getting those whimsical sleeping portraits that every parent loves.

Of course, no newborn photoshoot is complete without a portrait with any older siblings they have, and in Ridhaan’s case, his big brother just happened to have fur. The family’s dog was a delight to have in the studio and he did a great job posing with his new baby brother.

While some families like simplistic newborn photos, I knew already that this family loved creativity, and I was happy to make it happen for them! We managed to get plenty of unique photos of Ridhaan, from a travel-themed portrait to a Winnie the Pooh picture.
