A Delicate Darling’s Newborn Girl Photography ~ Viyana
There’s something about a baby girl that makes the entire world around you feel softer, kinder, and sweeter. Baby Viyana had this effect immediately, and as soon as I met her, it became my mission to capture that wonderfully sweet spirit in her newborn portraits.
Newborn Girl Photography
I met this adorable family when I had the pleasure of taking Mom’s maternity portraits. The focus was on bold, rich colors, and it was so much fun to bring her vision to life. Now that baby Viyana has arrived, though, the vibe has turned toward that delicate and unmistakable sweetness of baby girl photography, and I loved putting this daintiness front and center.
Throughout this newborn girl photography session, I had a great time creating a variety of color palettes and sets for her portraits. We focused on a lot of muted and soft pinks and lavender tones, but even Viyana’s portraits with rich blue backgrounds have an air of gentleness to them. One of my favorites has to be the image where we re-created the fairytale of “The Princess and the Pea,” including a little crown that is so fitting for this tiny princess.
At the beginning of Viyana’s session, she was wide awake and wanted to be part of the action! She gave us some adorable photos of those beautiful, soul-warming eyes of hers. Before too long, though, she drifted off to sleep and she was such an angel, letting us pose her with ease and capture plenty of cozy, sleepy pictures. I could have photographed this little sweetie all day!
As focused as we all were on baby Viyana, I also made sure we ended up with plenty of photos of the whole family too. It’s easy to see how much her parents adore her already, and I can’t wait to see how they grow as a family in the years to come.
