Award Winning Newborn Photography ~ Elias
Award Winning Newborn Photography
As a award winning newborn photographer and family photographer, part of the reason I love my job is that I get to spend time with amazing new families, but I also love it because I get to put my artistic side to work. The artist in me adores a monochromatic color palette, featuring different shades of the same color in a way that blends perfectly without overpowering any of the important details. Capturing photographs like these is how I create award winning newborn photography.
Luckily for me, baby Elias’s family was all about a monochromatic blue photo session for their baby boy. We played with every corner of the color range, from bright, nearly turquoise blues to deep navies and delicate sky blues. The variation turned out beautifully, but it was merely a backdrop for baby Elias and his sweet parents.
Creative Newborn Composites
Throughout Elias’s session, we also had fun with some creative newborn composites for his portraits, using themes that should be part of every baby’s childhood. I can’t get over the cute photo of Elias in a bear outfit in front of a Winnie the Pooh house, especially alongside the other photo that has Elias surrounded by teddy bears that are almost as sweet as he is. Of course, his photo inside the crescent moon is cozy enough to get anyone in the mood for a restful slumber.
In any newborn photo gallery, the portraits of the baby with their parents are always near the top of my list of favorites, and little Elias’s family portraits were no exception. His parents were incredibly kind and easy to work with, and it’s clear to me how much they treasure their new baby boy.
