Rhys ~ Baby Number Four

This is the grand finale for this sweet family. Baby Rhys (pronounced Reese) rounds out their family with two gorgeous girls and now two handsome boys. Mom and Dad have done a newborn session with every baby, so this was the fourth one’s turn, and they also wanted a great portrait of all four kids together. It’s amazing how strongly the four siblings resemble each other! They are some of the sweetest kiddos I have ever met with warm brown eyes to match!

I love the pictures of the four of them because you can kind of see the personality of the three older ones in their facial expressions, smiles, and eyes. The oldest leans into to her younger siblings in a protective gesture, while the next looks so sweet and easy going. Meanwhile, their little boy looks ready to go—better snap the picture fast! Their new baby brother even had his eyes open for the sibling portrait. There’s no doubt this one will be cherished for years to come and will probably pop up at several graduation celebrations. It’s such a cute first photo of all four.

I didn’t capture their other children’s newborn portraits because they lived in California. They recently moved to Connecticut to be closer to family. I asked about the styles of their other newborn portraits, and I really like the themes and colors that they picked out for this classic session. I’m in love with the deep blue and dark wood combination right now. The colors look so striking together—warm with a pop of color. We also incorporated lots of greys and light blues. The little boat photo is so sweet as little Rhys snoozed soundly in the middle. He broke out of his swaddle, and his legs look so cute poking out.

What a big year for this family. A new home and a bundle of joy to boot. Congratulations to this special family of four kiddos!
