Emmy ~ Baby Photos to Cherish Forever

This momma reached out to me in hopes to get newborn photos of her second daughter, Emmy. This family was so sweet, and I was more than happy to take photos of their new little one. When their first daughter, Hannah, was born, they had her newborn sessions done by another photographer. They wanted to get the same beautiful memories of Emmy. 

Parenthood goes by in the blink of an eye, especially the baby stage. Capturing the little moments of when our precious children are brand new is something that parents will cherish forever. Sometimes we forget how small our big kids once were, so newborn photos are definitely a must in my opinion. This family was ready to have little Emmy photographed in order to have her first moments documented. However,  when the pandemic came down hard in our state, Mom decided that the safest thing to do was wait a bit for things to settle down. Therefore Emmy and her family came in when she was just 3 months old. 

Despite having to wait for her session, we had a successful session and got some super cute photos! Emmy was so good during her entire session, and even let me get several wrapped up poses so we could create some artwork to match Hannah’s. Each family member had one-on-one time with Emmy during the session. I loved seeing Emmy with her big sister. They were so sweet together! She also looked adorable and happy with mom and dad, of course. They were so thrilled that everything turned out so beautiful, even if they weren’t exactly newborn photos. All in all, we had a wonderful time together, and I am so glad I was able to spend time photographing sweet Emmy. Congratulations to this family on their new baby girl.
