One-Year Milestone Photos on a Bright Summer Day ~ Nico

Every parent talks about how much fun it is to watch their kids grow up. Especially in their first years of life, they grow and learn so much so quickly, and they develop their own personalities, tastes, and talents right before your eyes.  As a CT family photographer, I get the special privilege of watching this growth for so many kids and babies every year.

In particular, it’s been a wonderful experience to watch little Nico’s family’s journey. I first met them when their first daughter Guilia was born. I had the honor of capturing Guilia’s newborn photos, and she was such a spirited and active little girl from the very start! I’ve been able to watch her grow over the past several years during her milestone photo sessions as well.

As soon as Mom and Dad knew that baby boy Nico was on the way, they called me to make sure they got on my schedule for his newborn photos, and I was thrilled for them! I’m astonished that it was already a year ago that we took Nico’s newborn portraits, but I must confess, I was excited to rejoin this family for his one-year photo session.

Summer Family Photos

For Nico’s first birthday, we took advantage of the lush and lovely summer scenery – a natural backdrop that no CT family photographer can take for granted. Little Nico has grown into such a happy and playful kid, just like his big sister, and it was a joy to watch them have fun picking the dandelions and exploring the outdoors.

Throughout the session, Nico was such a cooperative little trooper. Donning a precious summer outfit, complete with a bowtie, he did a great job in his solo portraits, sibling photos, and family portraits.
