Family Photos in the Rain | Family Children Photographer Glastonbury, Connecticut

One of the things you fear when you schedule family photography sessions is bad weather.  I’ve had to become part meteorologist, stalking several weather websites so that I’m prepared for whatever comes my way. This Saturday afternoon was supposed to be gorgeous, and then the rain percentages started to creep up. Well I’m not going to let a little 30% chance of rain spoil our fun, so this family and I went for it and began our session as scheduled.Then the skies darkened and 15 minutes later, the downpour began! Leaves were swirling, rain was coming at us from all sides and I thought, “At least we got the family image taken care of.” Well, leave it to God to make it all work out because the rain slacked up, and we just got creative under their back porch. By the end, we had a ton of fun playing all of our games and a great selection of images that show just how much fun you can have when you are determined to make the best of it! I hope you enjoy a little taste of our afternoon in the fall foliage and rain.
