Freezing in the Forest Gets You Fantastic Fall Photos | Family Children Photographer Glastonbury, Connecticut

This was one of those days that I literally thought I was going to turn into a human popsickle. I wore 4 layers of clothing and was in awe when this little family pulled off their coats and started having fun. The girls reminded me of shy little fairies, eager to have fun but taking great care to be watchful. But soon enough, they let down their guard and their personalities began to shine. Mom and Dad were great sports too and were happy to play all of the silly games that I suggested. The cold did start to get us down though, so hot chocolate and kettle corn were doled out and our final family images were created. I think the best part for everyone though was the time that they got to spend together, totally focused on each other. I know these twins are going to look back at their photographs one day and remember that piggy back ride, dancing with Daddy in the forest and trading kisses with their Momma. I’m just so glad I was there to capture it for them.
