Hazma ~ Heirloom Newborn Photographs

Can you tell that I’m really missing all of my families and their babies in the studio? Until everything reopens, I’m having fun passing the time with these posts from some of the last sessions I did before the pandemic hit. These adorable faces and sweet cheeks make all the worries fade away, and I am SO looking forward to opening back up – hopefully in several weeks. The safety and health of my families and their brand-new babies is top priority for me, so stay tuned for updates on reopening. Without further ado, here’s another of my favorite sessions:

Mom and Dad contacted me a little after baby boy Hamza was born, so we had to work out all of the details for his session over the phone. Dad loves very classic photographs that won’t look dated with modern props, so we went very masculine and traditional here. These neutral backdrops and subtle textures serve well for gorgeous heirloom images that will stand the test of time. After all, Hazma’s birth is a beautiful piece of their family’s story.

Hamza was a big boy at five weeks old, but he slept like a dream and gave me a couple of great grins. Mom looked so beautiful and peaceful holding her new baby. Dad was amazingly sweet considering he is currently working night rotations at the hospital and had gotten off a 12-hour shift just two hours before our session! 

What an incredible family. Hazma is surrounded by love and fantastic role models. I can’t imagine better parents, and they seemed like they are absolutely loving this magical time (even though I’m sure they aren’t getting much sleep these days).

I’m so thankful for another beautiful session. Congratulations to this family, and welcome home, baby Hazma!
