Maeve ~ Christening Gown Photographs

This is Maeve and she is 6 months old. Her mom contacted me about getting christening gown photographs taken, and I was delighted to do something so beautiful. You see, Maeve’s grandmother had saved her wedding dress all these years and decided that she wanted to do something special with it. So she had it made into a beautiful christening gown that can be passed down from generation to generation. Maeve got to be the lucky granddaughter to wear it first.

With Maeve’s beautiful blue eyes and her strawberry blonde hair, she is an absolute doll.

This session only took about 15 minutes, so Maeve was happy and wide-eyed the entire time. I spent a lot of extra time defining every fold, pearl and lace applique during the editing process because I wanted to really showcase the beautiful gown. Mom told me that Maeve was actually quite upset during her actual Christening ceremony, so I was thrilled that she was so full of joy when we created these photographs.

I think her grandmother is going to be overjoyed with the results!
