Maternity and Family Fall Pictures at Horse Barn Hill, University of Connecticut | Maternity Family Photographer
We were cutting it close getting this family’s fall pictures taken, and not just because our leaves are rapidly leaving the trees! Momma was only 3 weeks away from delivering her little bundle of joy on this chilly Saturday afternoon. I know it doesn’t look that cold in the picture because none of them have coats on, but I was dressed in full-on snow gear since my Mississippi blood is thinner than most New Englanders’. As this post goes out today, this family is packing their bags for the hospital for an expected delivery tomorrow morning. So I’m sending up prayers for a healthy and safe delivery for Momma and baby! We did have a great time chasing little curly-top around the fields and eating kettle corn. Two-year olds are little energy bundles as we all know, but she literally had all three of us on the run for several hours! In the end, their little family playdate was full of laughter and created some beautiful images and memories that they will enjoy for years to come. I’m so looking forward to meeting their new addition next week when we do his first photography session, and just maybe I’ll be able to catch that elusive close up shot of his big sister smiling down on him!
