Moving Dirt, it’s Kids’ Work \ Child Photographer Glastonbury, Connecticut

As my kids grow, I am constantly looking for ways to permanently imprint their stages on my brain. I know it’s impossible as I have trouble remembering what time the school bus arrives. But my photographs are giving me a fighting chance. My little superhero loves to dig in the dirt. MORE. . . THAN. . . ANYTHING. Since I don’t plan on keeping any ruined clothing as proof, I wanted a picture that totally captured his obsession. I had to get down on my stomach for this shot, but the crispness of his face combined with the blurred movement of the dirt make this photograph perfect! When his days of digging to China are through, I’ll always be able to look back and remember my little boy, the earthmover.
