Jenssen ~ Baby Boy Makes Family of Four

Just look at those adorably long legs and unbelievably sweet newborn lips! What a photogenic baby! Mom and Dad did their consultation way back in January, so the second they had him safely delivered, they called to schedule their session. Impeccable timing.

Crazy enough, Jenssen’s newborn session was the last session I was able to do before the Shelter in Place order that obligated all non-essential businesses to close their doors. And it was such a joy! What a wonderful note to end on for a while. (Although, just looking at these photos again is making me miss my families so much! I can’t wait to have their smiling faces and bundles of joy back in my studio.) 

For this session, they wanted a little bit of everything: family photos, classic newborn portraits, and some sweet themed sets. Jenssen has a wonderful big brother who is such a big helper and one of the sweetest kiddos. Big brother Tristan did such a good job with his sibling photographs as well as the family portion of the session. 

Mom and Dad had very specific digital files that they wanted to use for Jenssen’s photos as well, and they all turned out fantastic. Mom loves babies in hats so we created the nighty-night pose for her. I think Jenssen loved snuggling in close to the fuzzy bunny and bear as he drifted off soundly to sleep. 

Dad’s guitar is very special to him, so we created the guitar pose for him (done through composite for safety). Since Easter is almost here, we added a little Peter Rabbit image as well. They loved everything so much that they ordered the amazing Legacy box full of 30 beautiful Fine Art matted prints from their session – such a wonderful keepsake for their home and family!
