Logan ~ A Newborn Session Out of this World

Oh, sweet Logan! I was so happy this family contacted me for a newborn session, because the photos were just precious. Logan’s parents gave me a call right before he was born but we didn’t fully connect until he was a few weeks old. Luckily, I was just opened back up and we brought Logan into the studio at 6 weeks old. I have worked with Logan’s parents and sister before. I actually did Harper’s newborn photographs as well 3 years ago!

I enjoyed every moment with Logan and his family, but boy did I get my workout with this chunky baby! He was so cute – chubby cheeks and all! He slept the majority of the time, and was super cooperative. Logan and big sister, Harper, did a great job. 

I had a lot of fun being creative for this session. Since Logan’s room has a space theme, we created a great piece of art for his room. In one of the photos, Logan was surrounded by the moon and stars, and he was an astronaut in another. It will fit perfectly with his room. Dad prefers simple photos and mom love the more creative ones, so we did a mix of both. We took a few family photos with a simple background, and also had Logan sitting with some teddy bears. In the photo of mom with both kids, Harper is holding a penguin, because when mom was pregnant with Logan, Harper would tell everyone that she had a penguin in her tummy. Simple things like this often get forgotten over time, but since we decided to incorporate the penguin into the photos, it is a memory that the family will cherish forever. I had a wonderful time with Logan, Harper, and their parents. I hope they love this session just as much as I do!
