Newborn sessions are some of my favorites, because despite the chaos of having a new baby around, it is one of the most beautiful and exciting moments to capture. The love we feel as parents is indescribable, and it overwhelms us with emotion, especially when we are able to hold our new babies in our arms after they are born. Penelope Cruz once said, “All those cliches, those things you hear about having a baby and motherhood—all of them are true. And all of them are the most beautiful things you will ever experience.” This quote is so true, and it is obvious that this Mom and Dad felt exactly that during the session. They love their new little one, Amelia, so so much, and they couldn’t look away from her for more than a few seconds at a time. It’s safe to say that she has them wrapped around her fingers. 

When Mom and Dad reached out to me, they told me that they wanted to capture their sweet little girl and the love that has grown in their family. These two are originally from Poland, and they named their brand new daughter Amelia, because it translates well into both English and Polish. 

Pink Floral Newborn Photographs

We kept Amelia’s newborn session very floral and pink. We got lucky that she graced us with both sleepy and awake time. This little one was precious, and she was so cozy wrapped in blankets and held by her Mommy and Daddy. She did a great job and didn’t mind the camera much at all. I had a wonderful time with these folks. I think we captured some beautiful moments between all three of them.
