The Best Smiles Happen at Home | Glastonbury, Connecticut Baby Photographer

So often you see children hide behind their parents legs or cling to them for dear life when the family is out and about. Add an unfamiliar adult with a camera pointed in their direction, and you’ve got the recipe for blank stares, tons of unhappy faces, or a complete meltdown. This baby girl’s momma was worried about what to expect when she took her little one to a new place, so she was thrilled when I suggested just doing the photography session in their home.

We started right when “blue eyes” woke from her nap and then spent the next 90 minutes letting her play and go about her day. She was so captivating and comfortable in her space that she literally shined. The best part though was watching the love that her momma felt as she enjoyed her little one. You could almost feel her try to memorize the moments she spent feeding and cuddling her baby girl, the third and completing piece of their family. I look forward to watching this little beauty grow.
