The 2020 pandemic has impacted so many people’s lives in so many different ways, and that includes getting together to take family photos. Baby Melody’s mom missed out on her second daughter’s newborn photos because of COVID-19, so she was eager to get some beautiful family photos to display around her home.

Mom reached out to me in the summer when Melody was a couple of months old. To fit the family home’s warm color scheme and her plans for displaying her photos, we chatted and decided that the natural colors of fall would be the perfect fit for the photos. We set a date for the fall and I couldn’t wait to meet their family!

Colorful Fall Family Photos

When fall arrived, we chose an amazing park for their photo session. It has one garden after another, each one with its own array of colorful plant life, so it was perfect for Mom and Dad’s vision. Both four-year-old Melody and four-month-old Bella were incredibly beautiful and easy to work with throughout the session. They were both full of smiles, and the types of smiles that you can’t help but share with them.

I was so honored to not only capture this growing family but also to witness how much love the family has for each other. Mom and Dad truly treasure their little princesses and it’s clear that sisters Melody and Bella adore each other too. I’m thrilled with the way the family’s close connection comes through in their photos, and I know that they’ll cherish these memories on their walls for years to come.
