For so many parents, the ultimate dream is to have a healthy, happy family with both boys and girls. They want to enjoy ruffles and lace as well as baseball caps and overalls. This family couldn’t be more thrilled to be making that a reality as they prepare for their baby boy to arrive and join his big sister.

From the moment I saw Mom in this stunning red gown, I could see the absolute joy and excitement in her spirit. It was fitting that she chose a garden setting for her maternity shoot, showcasing the gorgeous fall colors that created a perfect backdrop for her natural glow.

That red dress turned out to be a true showstopper! Not only did it complement the fall colors perfectly, but the flowy fabric danced in the wind in a breathtaking way that frames Mom as the genuine angel she is.

As much as I love to showcase a mom-to-be during a maternity shoot, it’s always special to capture the joy and love the entire family has for their upcoming addition as well. Big sister Nia was shy at first, but throughout the session, Mom and Dad did a terrific job of helping her feel comfortable. Before long, her adorable personality began to show through and it was easy to see what a wonderful sister she’ll be.

Overall, this shoot was a pleasure from start to finish. The whole family was kind, sweet, and easy to work with. Their eagerness to grow their family was so infectious that I couldn’t help but share their excitement. Mom was nervous at first, but as soon as she began to see the gracefulness in her photos, she was thrilled to see her vision coming together. I can’t wait to see this loving family welcome their new little man!
