Meet Colton, a sweet little one that totally needed to be in front of the camera! Talk about an adorable baby… this little guy was so much fun to photograph due to his sweet little smile and his happy-go-lucky personality. His parents came to see me about getting a newborn session once their baby arrived. But then, of course, COVID came along and ruined that. So they decided to postpone his session until he was full of smiles and sitting up. 

It’s safe to say that it was worth the wait, because Colton was super smiley and loved his entire session. He loved the attention he got from mom, dad, and grandparents. One of my favorite photos we got was with our little man in a bucket. He had a precious smile with his little tongue sticking out a bit. It was precious. We captured some other cute moments of Colton, and also got several with the family.

Mom and Dad have a rustic decorating style and love horses, old barns (dad actually helped build the one in these photos) and being outside, so we incorporated some of their loves into Colton’s session and made some great memories for them. I love that we were able to bring their interests and visions out in the photos. Personalizing sessions makes the photographs so much more special because they tug a little bit more at your heart. This family will have a wonderful set of captured treasures to look back on and remember baby Colton’s first few months of life. All in all, I had a great time in the beautiful weather with Colton and his family. Although COVID got in the way a little bit, I am so happy that we were able to photograph this sweet baby boy!
