Myra ~ An Unexpected Gift

Sometimes life has a way of giving us the most unexpected miracles. It’s crazy how things can feel so normal, and then one day you are given a gift that you didn’t even expect. That’s what happened with this sweet family. These two parents welcomed Myra into the world just recently. She was a big surprise for her parents. They weren’t even sure that they would start a family when they found out they were expecting. Lucky for them, they were blessed with the sweetest little girl, and they just knew she would change their life for the better. Once these two realized what a blessing they had been given, they began making a new plan that would make them both parents and bring more love into their lives – and oh, they were so ready! It’s so fun for me to hear the many different stories from the families I photograph. Everyone has their own journey, and it’s exciting to see the path that is laid out for each one. Working with Myra and her parents was a blessing, and we got some amazing photos. 

I loved seeing the two of them cuddle Myra in their arms while they embraced each other. We stuck with a floral theme for the session and gave little Myra a flower headband. She looked precious surrounded by pink and red flowers. Not to mention, she seemed to be so cozy the entire time. She was such a good model for the session. I enjoyed getting to know these three, and am so happy for the new adventure ahead of them. Congratulations and welcome to parenthood!
