Leonardo ~ The Best Winnie the Pooh Nursery Artwork

This little dude is Leonardo. His parents called me shortly after he was born since they tried to take some cute newborn photos of him, and just weren’t thrilled with the results. After searching Google for a baby photographer in CT, they came across my work and knew that I could give them the photographs they were hoping for.

One of the photographs they really wanted was one of Leonardo in his Winnie the Pooh outfit. They decorated his nursery with Pooh items and wanted to create a picture of him in his pooh gear. So I surrounded Leonardo with all of his friends from the woods and placed him in front of Winnie the Pooh’s house. Gotta love the little grin he gave me for this image.

Another thing you can’t get unless you have a professional baby photographer is that amazing first family portrait. Not only is little Leonard getting loved on in the image, Mom and Dad are sharing a moment too.

Being from Michigan, Dad wanted a picture of him holding his son wearing a graphic t-shirt that has special meaning from his hometown. He didn’t mind that Leonardo covered up most of the graphic because he knew that everyone at home would know exactly what was behind his son.

I just loved this beautiful photograph of Mom and her baby boy together. She is just stunning and her little man looks so peaceful in her arms.

Mom is a big runner and used to work for Gatorade, so they brought some props in for me to use. Even the timer on the runner’s watch is significant, giving Leonardo something to strive for one day.

For the first part of his newborn photography session, Leonardo was completely awake. Sometimes this can be a problem because babies don’t tend to pose unless they are asleep. But not with this little dude. He did absolutely every pose I placed him in and grinned the whole time.

Listening to Daddy’s heartbeat and getting a cuddle at the same time.

It’s amazing that this little boy fits perfectly in his Momma’s hands, especially when you consider that one day he will be taller than she is now.

And we’ll finish off with Leonardo sleeping peacefully. Mom and Dad decided to put all of Leonardo’s professional baby photos into a beautiful album so they can always look back to his first days in their family.
