Noei ~ Big Balloon and Cake Smash

I love how much babies love to dress up. It’s not just little girls! Boys love it, too. If the outfit is something out of the ordinary and includes a flowy dress, bowtie, sparkles or fun textures, little kids are usually all about it. Baby Noei was having her first birthday, and Mom and Dad were eager to get beautiful photographs taken to capture this moment in her life. Mom wanted everything bright and airy and PINK! Her outfit had lots of soft, feathery pink tulle and ribbons. Sweet Noei loved it! I think she knew she looked fabulous, because she posed like a princess.

Her parents really wanted a picture with a huge big pink balloon, which was a great idea because Noei had a ball playing with it. The balloon floated at the end of a string of ivy, and Noei was determined to pull it down to touch it. We got a great photo of her staring up in fascination. She was a little serious at first, probably trying to take in all of her surroundings and figure out why someone was aiming a big camera at her, but Mom and Dad were able to get some great smiles out of her. One of my favorite photos is the closeup shot looking down on her long, gorgeous lashes. Their little girl is such a cutie!

Once she figured out there was cake involved, the rest was history. This happy girl showed off all the smiles. Can you believe that Noei’s mom made that beautiful cake topped with delicate florals? It matched the set perfectly, and because it was made with Mom’s magic touch, she loved eating it! Baby Noei ate her fill until we had to cut her off to prevent a tummy ache. Good thing we ended on that sweet note.
