Carolina ~ Bright & Airy Timeless Newborn Photographs

Mom and Dad wanted really classic, timeless images to capture their brand new daughter, Carolina (Carol-ee-na). I just love how her name is pronounced! Carolina is their first child, so they could not have been more excited about this photography session. They wanted to keep everything bright and airy to really keep the focus on the beauty of the details in their first child.

They have two dogs that they love dearly as well who came along to join in the family photographs. They did great during the shoot. I know that they’ll be the perfect little companions for Baby Carolina as she grows up. Mom and Dad chose to wear soft colors of cream and light blue that went so well with Carolina’s pale pink swaddle. She looks so sweet and tiny in their arms. Carolina wore some of the sweetest floral headbands. I love the lilac one she wore as she slept under the covers with baby bunny. The picture of Carolina with her pink floral headband and only her bottom covered by a pink swaddle makes my heart melt! I can’t get over her sweet lazy grin as she napped in her purple linen wrap and crocheted bonnet. She had the cutest little expressions throughout the whole session, but she stayed asleep like a perfect little angel the whole time.

Just Like Dad

Dad is a huge soccer fan and told me that he went all the way to Europe to get his baby girl a jersey. So I had to create a photograph that combined his love of the sport with his love of his brand new baby girl. I had such a fun time creating a background that looks like a soccer field. Creating custom themed backgrounds is something I really enjoy doing for my clients because it makes their photographs perfect for them!
