Glamorous Maternity Photos

Pregnancy is an incredibly multi-dimensional time in a woman’s life, and every mom experiences so many elements and emotions throughout this unique stage of life. You might feel powerful, tender, beautiful, feminine, nurturing, and everything in between…all in the same day. Because pregnancy can have all these different faces, each of my maternity photo clients has her own vision for her photographs, and it’s my privilege to make her dream come true.

For this particular client, the word of the day was “glamour.” Pregnancy clearly suits her because she looked absolutely stunning throughout her session, so it wasn’t difficult to capture her glow.

We started the session with Mom in a divine blue maternity gown. She’s having a baby boy and the choice of blue was a wonderful way to honor him and to highlight how excited she is for his arrival. The blue gown was perfect as well for bringing Dad in and capturing photos of the beautiful family just before they transition from a party of two to a party of three.

High Class Maternity Shoot

As classy and lovely as the blue gown was, though, I absolutely adore the black bodysuit Mom used as part of this high class maternity shoot for her other portraits too! She took glamour to a whole new level with this amazing look, and her big hat, pearl choker, and black stilettos truly completed the picture. We kept the background simple because it makes Mom stand out even more. It looks like this momma could cuddle her baby during the day and head out for some high-class espionage at night, and I’m loving it!
