Gorgeous CT Maternity Photos | Twin Boys!

Pregnancy is such a unique season in a woman’s life. No two women experience the same pregnancy. And no woman experiences the same pregnancy twice. I was able to capture this gorgeous momma who was experiencing so much newness all at once. Not only are Lauren and Jon expecting their first child, but they are expecting twin boys.

Part of why I love what I do is that I get to provide a custom maternity session for each woman based on how they want to depict their pregnancy journey. I was elated when Lauren opted for a more luxurious vibe that leaned towards a Vogue magazine cover. Whether to escape the August heat or provide a more extravagant feel, I was ready to get my studio celebrity ready.

Lauren chose a stunning gown in a rich maroon hue. With flowing, medieval sleeves and tri-tiered train, she looked absolutely radiant. Her statement necklace made the ensemble. It provided such red carpet quality. Set against a black backdrop, her dress popped, and her pregnancy glow was highlighted. Lauren’s beauty and confidence were tangible as I began capturing this season of her life.

When Jon joined his beautiful wife, I could see the love in his eyes. He was seeing not just his wife, but the mother of his two boys. Their joyful expectation radiated through the room and created the most touching of photos. I noticed Jon’s hands continually coming back to holding Lauren’s belly; he can’t wait to hold his newborn baby boys. I know that those little boys will be in good hands.
