Nico ~ A Hockey Fan’s Newborn Session

This family is one close to my heart, because I have had a part in documenting their children’s milestones ever since their little girl was born. A few years ago, I photographed a newborn session for their daughter, Guilia. Check out her session here! The family had me photograph them along the way as she grew. So when they were having their second baby, a boy, they asked me to work with them again. They welcomed sweet Nico, and he is just as cute as his big sister!

We had a lot of fun with the props for this session. Dad loves hockey, so I created a hockey image for them. Dad has big dreams that his kids will love the sport as much as his family does. We also gave Nico a teddy bear, and surrounded him by cozy swaddles and blankets. We got some super cute solos  of him, along with him and the rest of the family. My personal favorites were the memories we captured with him and his big sister. She was so sweet and gentle, and gave him kisses. It turned out precious! Not to mention, their eyes are simply beautiful, and I love how the dark background of the session made their eyes a focal point in the photos. 

Nico did great during the session, as did Guilia. They are two very sweet kiddos, just like their parents. Nico is a chubby little thing, which made the photos even cuter. Although he was awake some of the time, we had a successful session. We captured many beautiful moments, and I am looking forward to working with these folks again soon. Welcome to the world, Nico!
