Visual Drama for Days ~ An Indian Goddess in Maternity Photographs

As a photographer who specializes in memorializing the most momentous and exciting times in my clients’ lives like welcoming a new baby to their family, I find that the greatest beauty is always in their genuine joy and love for their new baby. But some clients have an extra dose of exquisite beauty, and it’s so much fun to have an artistic and dramatic photoshoot in these cases.

That was absolutely true for this incredibly gorgeous mom-to-be. I was blown away by her and I couldn’t wait to put her model-worthy look in front of the camera. Luckily for me, she loved getting glamorous and indulging in dramatic portraiture too!

We had a great time playing with unique poses and stunning maternity dresses, and we ended up with a fantastic gallery of gorgeous portraits in different aesthetics and tones. Mom’s photos in the deep green maternity dress are spectacularly dramatic, but I have to say that she makes this pink dress of cascading ruffles look even more incredible! It shows off her delicate and feminine side in an eye-catching way, but her glow as a mom-to-be is still the star of the show.

While Mom-to-be is always the headliner in maternity portraits, I love capturing beautiful photos of the couple together too, and these two were utterly precious to photograph.  You can’t fake the look of true affection and adoration in their eyes when they gaze at each other. It’s clear that they’re already head over heels for their little one, and I can’t wait to see them in their new lives as a family of three.
