Kate ~ Family Photography in Glastonbury, CT
This is Kate’s family. You see, she’s 1-year-old now and she is making sure that she takes them to see all kinds of neat places so she can practice her new skills of standing and smiling up a storm. This is one of my favorite places to do family photography sessions in Glastonbury because it is beautiful, quiet and just a neat place to explore.
Mom got a chance to let Kate show off her super standing skills now. Of course, holding her hands because that water was really close by.
Kate just loved swinging her legs while she sat in my little chair, all by herself. We did her photography session at 8 am because she likes to go down for a nap by 9:30. And it made all the difference in the world. Kate was full of smiles.
She was more than happy to get a cuddle from Daddy when she had the chance though.
And by the end of our time at this park, Kate was having an absolute ball! But we weren’t done yet. . .
We stopped by my studio to let Kate have a turn at painting and see what she could create. In this photo, Mom had just cleaned a big glob of white paint off of her tongue and Kate wasn’t too pleased about it.
She kept wanting Mom and Dad to help and ended up with tons on her hands.
Done with painting, Kate decided to check out her palette and paint herself a bit more.
Kate is one of my baby plan babies. I’ve so enjoyed getting to watch her grow every 3 months throughout her first year. If you’d like to see how far she has come, please visit her newborn session, 3-months, 6-months, and 9-months sessions.
