Kamerynn ~ Little Girl Cake Smash Photos

Oh, how I love this little beauty! Kamerynn is just the sweetest thing, and I have enjoyed watching her grow as her CT baby photographer. I still remember her newborn session like it was yesterday. She was so tiny with the most perfect features imaginable because she made her debut into the world at 30 weeks – I photographed her at six weeks old, and she was still a month away from her due date! And now she’s gracing my studio again as a beautiful, playful toddler. Where did the time go?!

Work that is worth it

Our work was cut out for us at this session: in order to get the best shots, Mom and Dad had to play games with her throughout the shoot. Despite the glitz, glam, and tasty cake, she wanted to stay in the comfort of her parents’ arms most of the time. At one point, I was cracking up because she suddenly realized that she had been so into the cake smash that she forgot to cry for Mom and Dad. Trying to get back to their arms, she crawled frantically away from the cake. I caught her with the cutest expression on her face. This little one certainly kept us laughing through it all! At the end, we all left with cake frosting on us. But she looks just stunning in these photos, and I’m pretty sure she loved the cake, so the work was all worth it!

For this milestone photoshoot, Kamerynn wore a colorful, tulle tutu, which looked so darling with her pigtails and matching headband. The pastel pink and purple backdrop was perfect for showcasing Kamerynn and her loveable personality. I had so much fun celebrating this special first birthday with Kamerynn and her family. I wish her many happy adventures on her way to two years old! Happy birthday, sweet girl!
