Stunning Fall Maternity Photos

Pregnancy is such a special time in any family’s life, and everyone has their own ways of celebrating their growing family, commemorating this special stage, and honoring their baby as they prepare for their arrival. This family knew how to celebrate in style: with ambitious and stunning maternity photos!

With their baby on the way, Mom and Dad had planned for two maternity photo sessions: a fun outdoor session with the whole family and then a more dramatic and artistic indoor session with just Mom and Dad. Apparently, little Hudson decided that he wanted to join the party sooner than expected, so we weren’t able to do the indoor session before he arrived.

Still, they were so glad that they were able to do the outdoor session because it turned out beautifully! Mom’s wardrobe choice of a white bodysuit and fur coat was absolutely gorgeous. Not only did it work so well with the caramel tones of the leaves, but it was perfectly fitting for the season as we were skirting the line between fall and winter.

Throughout the session, Mom and Dad were beaming with excitement for their new little one. It was clear to see that they were ready to shower baby Hudson with love the moment he would arrive.

As touching as Mom and Dad’s smiles were, though, I couldn’t get over big-sister-to-be! She has such a beautiful and infectious smile, and I was glad that we could capture some special photos not only of her closeness with her family but also of her on her own and with the doll that she holds so dear. For the entire family, this session turned out to be a sweet way to commemorate a changing and joyous time in their lives.
