Meaningful Newborn Photos

Taking portraits for a family’s special moments is so much more than posing babies and snapping pictures. If it’s done the right way, it’s a touching and emotional experience. My aim is to capture each family’s personality in their portraits and highlight the qualities that make them truly beautiful. That’s why so many of my families continue coming back to me as their families grow: because we bond during their photography session and they know that I understand who they are and how to feature them in the best way to create meaningful newborn photos.

That’s exactly what happened with baby Aleena’s incredibly sweet family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mom, Dad, and their first baby Maheem when he was born. We had a great time together, and Mom and Dad loved Maheem’s portraits! They have since moved about two hours away, but when little Aleena was on the way, they knew they wanted to come back to my studio. I’m so glad they did because it was a joy to see how their adorable family has grown and to capture Aleena’s first portraits.

Newborn Photos Full of Color

This family loves bold, rich, beautiful colors, and I had so much fun designing Aleena’s newborn photos to be full of color. The floral backgrounds and sets bring out her sweetest “little girl” qualities, and those bright headbands are the perfect complement to all her gorgeous hair. One of my favorite photos must be the portrait of Aleena draped in her mom’s red bridal veil!

As perfect of a model as little Aleena is, the portraits of her with her excited new family are so sweet that I can’t take my eyes off them. It’s clear to see how Mom, Dad, and Maheem treasure their baby girl, and Maheem was such a great big brother to give us an adorable sibling portrait.
