Newborn Portraits with Thai Traditions ~ Noah
Newborn Photos with Thai Culture
One of the many aspects of photographing newborns that I love is seeing how truly unique each family is. It’s a joy to see all the traditions, passions, and values that new parents are excited to share with their babies. I feel truly honored to be able to infuse this into each baby’s portraits, and to know that when these babies grow up, they’ll be able to look back on their newborn photos and see where their roots began. This little guy’s family really wanted newborn photos with Thai culture sprinkled in.
In the case of little Noah, his sweet and kind parents wanted to incorporate Mom’s culture into the photos. She grew up in Thailand and has a strong sense of culture and tradition, so we incorporated plenty of Thai imagery and even a special Thai costume for baby Noah, along with backgrounds of lush jungles and world maps.
Sleepy Newborn Photos
Mom and Dad also wanted plenty of simplistic and serene newborn portraits as well to truly highlight their new baby boy, and I was happy to oblige. Noah allowed us to capture so many wonderful and sleepy newborn photos, and he even gave us a sleepy smile in many of them. I can’t get over how adorable that content smile is!
As I was meeting with Mom and Dad to plan their session, it was easy to see how much genuine love they have for each other. Dad was so adoring toward both his wife and his new son, and I was delighted to be able to capture this love in their portraits. The entire family was so kind and easy to work with, and I can tell already that baby Noah will grow up being cherished and uplifted.
