Rory ~ Newborn session with Toddler

2 year old curly haired sister holding her newborn brother on cream furThis is little Rory with his big sister Abby. I’ve been photographing Abby since she was a newborn, so I was thrilled when Mom called to schedule Rory’s newborn session. Of course, this time it was a bit different since now we would be doing a newborn session with a toddler as well.

Dad holding newborn son in one hand and hugging toddler sister with other armAbby was super excited to have a new baby brother. Mom calls this smile her “cheese” face, and it shows off just how adorable she is. Rory was so chilled out that Dad was able to hold him in the palm of his hand.

newborn boy sleeping in bum up pose on grey background smilingRory was 6lbs, 6 oz at birth and he arrived 4 weeks early. But he was perfectly “baked” so no need to stay in the oven any longer. He even had adorable newborn rolls.

Mom hugs both her toddler daughter and newborn sonAbby was enjoying this cuddle from her Momma. She’s having to share her parents now, so these extra bits of love mean so much.

Mom holds newborn son cheek to cheek and smilesSo proud of her new little boy, Mom was all smiles with him tucked up in her arms. Rory was just about to wake up here and need a snack.

Mom Dad and toddler daughter posing with newborn sonAnd here are the beautiful family all together. Perfectly balanced and rounded out in every way. I look forward to watching Rory grow, just as Abby has, and seeing them both become amazing people.
