As a photographer, I treasure all of my clients and I love capturing the special moments in their emerging families’ lives. My favorite part of the job, though, is keeping up with a family throughout the years and commemorating them as they grow. That’s why this particular one-year-old photoshoot was so special to me.

I fell in love with this family from the absolute beginning. I first met Mom and Dad when they were pregnant with their beautiful twin boys. During Mom’s maternity photo session, I could already see how full of love these two were for their baby boys. When the twins arrived, I was privileged to do their newborn photos as well. It was clear that Dad was eagerly awaiting the day when he could play catch with his sons, so we had fun with a sports theme for their newborn session.

Identical Twins One-Year Photo Shoot

As they say, though, time flies, and now the boys are one year old and ready for their close-ups! Unsurprisingly, it was another fun session with this adorable family. Joey and Jacob are identical twins, and while we all had trouble keeping track of who was who in their photos, it was a joy to see the special bond they share and to watch their playful personalities together.

The boys were full of smiles and giggles from the moment the session began, and it’s easy to see how much happiness they bring to their lucky parents on a daily basis. The beautiful sunny day and the bright garden colors in their photoshoot match perfectly with the whole family’s warm smiles, and I don’t think I’ll ever get over those amazing baby giggles the boys let out during the shots of their parents lifting them into the air.
