One-Year Photos for Smiley Twin Boys

Kai and Quincy are your classic twins – they each have their own personalities and they’re not afraid to let everyone know it! Twins are always such a fun challenge in a photo session because getting them both to smile and pose at the same time is always a puzzle. But these two were so good-natured that they made the entire session a joy. With one shy guy and one joyful giggler, it was such a pleasure to watch these two interact and see how they balance each other.

Mom reached out to me just before her little boys were about to turn one year old, and she wanted to get special portraits for them before they got any bigger, which seems to happen in the blink of an eye. I couldn’t wait to capture this important time in their lives, and Kai and Quincy didn’t disappoint.

Both of the boys are having a wonderful time growing and moving, and it was great to watch them having fun throughout the session. It’s clear that they also adore their big brother, Cassius, and after spending time with this precious family, I can see why! Cassius is a fantastic big brother, always ready to help out and take care of his new fans. The portraits with all three of the boys are some of my favorites from the entire gallery.

Speaking of fans, I’m a huge fan of the aesthetic that this family chose for the boys’ portraits. The simple blues and rustic outfits are the perfect compliments to these sweet kids’ warm smiles. I know their parents will treasure the finished photos forever.
