One-Year Photos for a Growing Baby Boy

There’s a saying about raising kids: “the days are slow but the years are fast.” In other words, while it may feel like every day is long and exhausting because of all the attention and care your little one needs, it’s easy to suddenly realize how much your child has grown in such a short amount of time.

This might be especially true in your child’s first year. At least, that was the case for little Ishaan’s mom. I had the absolute joy of capturing Ishaan’s newborn photos and getting to know this sweet growing family. This happy little boy is growing so quickly that mom wanted to make sure she invested in one-year photos for Ishaan to memorialize this time before he grows even more.

Flaunting for the Camera

I loved being able to welcome this family back into my studio. Ishaan has an incredibly precious smile, and he loved flaunting it for the camera! We focused primarily on photos of Ishaan with Mom or Dad as well as portraits of the whole family, and I’m glad we did because it’s so fun to see the love between them in their photos.

Of course, we were able to get a few fantastic pictures of little Ishaan solo too, donning beautiful blue overalls and being his joyful yet mellow self. Out of the entire experience, the only real challenge was the ordering session – photos hold such a special place in Mom’s heart that she just wanted as many of them as possible, but Dad had to hold things down. Regardless, all of us were thrilled with the beautiful portraits that the family gets to enjoy every day in their home.
