For Your Eyes Only – Keeping Your Photographs Private ~ Glastonbury, CT
Photographers love to share the images that we create. We’re kind of like that 4-year-old who just colored the most amazing picture and just has to show it to everybody. And just like him, we live for those moments when people pour out tons of praise and love for our work.
But I’m finding that some of my clients really don’t want me to share. They love the beautiful images that I create, but some of them just aren’t comfortable having pictures of their family out there on the Internet.
I want you to know, I completely understand.
So for you, I’ve created a Confidentiality Agreement that basically promises you that I won’t share any of your family’s photographs. Not on the Internet, and not with any of my marketing. I won’t even tell people about the dirty dishes in your sink or that you have loads of boxes from Amazon since you tend to shop at 2am while you are up feeding your baby.
Don’t get me wrong, it will break my heart that I can’t share the gorgeous images of your baby and family. But if it is important to you, then I’m happy to keep everything under wraps.
My regular agreements include a model release clause that allows me to use the photographs I create on my website and in my marketing. But if you would prefer to keep everything private, just let me know and I’ll be happy to sign a confidentiality agreement for you.
