Camden~ Rocky Hill Newborn Photographer

This brand-new family of four was absolutely precious! Their first, big sister Callie, was three years old, and they just welcomed baby brother Camden home. They were the most wonderful family to work with. We easily clicked, and their sweet, fun personalities made the session go by so fast! I just wanted to keep playing with Callie and snuggling their precious baby boy.

In addition to classic newborn portraits, they also wanted to update their family portraits and get a few sibling shots as well. We went with a classic color palette, which was ideal for highlighting their authentic smiles and warm personality. I love how these photos really show off their close family bond.

Dad loves football, so we did end up doing a few subtle themed shots. The heart and football pose ended up being one of my favorite newborn photos. It’s so cute to hang in the nursery or showcase on birth announcements! And I like that it’s a beautiful alternative to the traditional blue backdrop for baby boys for families who want to change it up. 

Callie did such a great job during the shoot. Not only did she happily smile for the camera, she was also eager to give her baby brother some warm snuggles. It’s safe to say that she’s already growing into her big sister role and loving it. Even though she was rocking the photoshoot, sessions can get a little long for preschoolers, so she left for some fun with her grandparents while Mom and Dad stayed for Camden’s photographs. 

Baby Camden followed suit and was perfect for his very first photography session. He slept through most of it and even gave off a little sleepy smile there in the middle. What an honor it was to capture this important stage in their family’s life. Welcome home, little one! May your year be filled with love and wonder.
