Charlotte ~ A Romantic Newborn Session

Being a first time parent changes the way we look at the world. When going through such a monumental life change such as parenthood, we often want to document the moments so you never forget how small and precious our babies are. These sweet parents had their daughter, Charlotte, amidst the pandemic, and they were over the moon happy to welcome their daughter into their lives. This momma was so overjoyed when she found out that we could still do her baby’s newborn session, despite everything going on. Luckily, I was able to open up just in time for Charlotte to visit me at 3 weeks old. Dad told me mom sobbed for days when she thought that they weren’t going to be able to get newborn photographs done. I am so happy that I was able to bring joy and relief to these sweet new parents. 

Charlotte is their first baby if you don’t count their adorable king charles spaniels, Ally and Charlie. Their dogs were their children before having a little one, so we had to include them in the session. The two fur babies did great and added a lot of love to the photos. I love the family photos of all 5 of the family members together!

This mom loves super romantic images and was thrilled with all of the photographs that I created for them. I used many props to give the romantic vibe, such as floral arrangements, flower petals, and sweets. Even Dad was over the moon happy with everything. It is such a good feeling when everyone is thrilled with the outcome of a session. I loved working with this family. They are so blessed to have Charlotte, and I don’t think their life could be any happier right now. Congrats to these two, and welcome, Charlotte!
