Amelia was truly one of the happiest and most expressive babies I’ve ever worked with. Her eyes are so gorgeous you just have to smile and awwwww when you see them.

Sweet Amelia is already a year old, and her mom and dad wanted to celebrate with a day in the sunshine. For her birthday milestone session, we had the most beautiful morning. It was as if the warm sunshine and gentle breeze came out just for her! Amelia was the perfect little model. She did it all – perfect smiling poses, hilarious candid expressions, and lots of playful moments. She was cute as could be in her beautiful white eyelet dress and dainty headband. I’m pretty sure she already understands the concept of having her picture taken because she was really hamming it up! She had me laughing the hardest when she wrinkled up her nose and gave the silliest toothy grin. But her dazzling eyes sparkled brightest when she was wrapped in her parents’ arms. She adores them more than anything, and they love their little girl even more! 

I had a feeling she would love being outdoors – most kids do – so we picked a location with plenty of shade and soft grass for her to explore and play comfortably. Everyone did such a good job that we were all done in no time. Then, it was time for free play until naptime. 

These are the kinds of photos that family members will love passing around – photos that will pop up at Amelia’s 18^thbirthday celebration. These are too priceless to get left out.
