Zane ~ Sunset at Home Baby Milestone Family Photography Session

I was so happy to get to photograph this beautiful growing family again! Their second child Zane turned one year old. I’ve been photographing this family since Big Sister Eva was a newborn, and now they have baby number three on the way (another sister!). They are such wonderful people with the cutest kids. I just love photographing sessions like these because the families are so sweet and fun, and I get to see their children grow up a bit more each time.

We decided to shoot their family session at their home at sunset, so we could capture the beautiful fall colors. There’s something neat about having a photography session at a client’s home when they have children. Their little ones tend to be more playful and at ease because they’re in a familiar environment. They decorated their front porch with cute pumpkins and the sweetest little sign announcing their pregnancy with their 3rd child. 

I loved the small bridge by a trail near their house. It was surrounded by beautiful trees whose leaves had already started to change colors. The setting sun shone through the trees creating wonderful lighting for the whole family. We were able to take advantage of that gorgeous sunlight to get pictures of Mom and Dad holding Zane with the glow of orange leafed trees in the background. 

I love the little jumper that Zane is wearing. It looks so cute in the picture with him climbing the ladder on their backyard playset. Big Sister Eva looked adorable in her little skirt with sneakers too! I know the picture of brother and sister sitting together on a blanket in the grass is going to be a favorite of the whole family. I can see them having so much fun playing in the yard for years to come. I just love this family and can’t wait to meet baby #3!
