The Timeless Childhood Portrait Series
The Timeless Childhood Portrait Series
Black and White Close-Up Portraits for Children
Founding Year – 2026
There is something very specific parents remember as their children grow — the quiet moments when they simply took in their child’s face.
The way their big eyes looked back at you.
The incredible length of their eyelashes.
The tiny freckles scattered across their nose.
The softness in their expression that belongs only to that age.
Those details change so quickly.
And one day you realize the child in front of you looks a little older than the one you remember.
This year, I am introducing something new at the studio designed to preserve those details in the most timeless way possible.
The Timeless Childhood Portrait Series.
A portrait created to capture your child’s face exactly as you see them right now.
No props.
No distractions.
Just your child’s face— photographed as a classic black-and-white close-up portrait that allows every detail of their face and expression to take center stage.
A Portrait That Brings You Back
When parents see their finished portrait, they often notice the little details that are easy to miss in everyday life — the curve of their child’s smile, the softness of their cheeks, the delicate lashes framing their eyes.
Years from now, these portraits will become something very special.
They will bring you back to exactly what it felt like to look at your child at this age.
Over time, families who participate will begin building a collection — a series of portraits that quietly show how their child grew year by year.
This 2026 event marks the founding year of the Timeless Childhood Portrait Series.
What Makes These Portraits Different
These portraits are intentionally simple so that every detail of your child’s face can be seen and remembered.
Each child is photographed against a dark background using soft, sculpted light that gently highlights their features.
The focus is always the same:
their eyes
their expression
the unique details that make their face unmistakably theirs
Children are gently guided to look directly into the camera with a relaxed, natural expression — often a soft smile or thoughtful gaze.
The result is a portrait that feels both artistic and deeply personal.
One that parents often describe as feeling like they are looking right back into their child’s eyes again.

Some photographs capture moments.
Others capture something deeper — the small details of a child’s face that parents carry in their hearts long after childhood has passed.
My hope is that the Timeless Childhood Portrait Series becomes a portrait families look forward to creating each year — a beautiful reminder of what it felt like to look into your child’s eyes at that age.
