Toddler boys are known for one thing above all: their energy. They’re constantly bouncing off the walls, exploring, creating make-believe scenarios, and making any situation into a great time. Little Benjamin is no exception.

I was already well-acquainted with adorable Benjamin and his sweet family. I was honored to take Benjamin’s newborn photos as well as his six-month and one-year milestone pictures. Benjamin has always been a delightfully alert baby, and now he’s added the fun rambunctiousness of a typical two-year-old.

Outdoor Two-Year Old Photos

To capture Benjamin’s vibrant spirit, his family wanted to take his photos outdoors, in an environment where he could have fun exploring and interacting with the world. This gave us the perfect opportunity to showcase little Benjamin’s curious and happy personality, so we chose a nearby location and set a date.

This setting turned out to be absolutely perfect for Benjamin and the whole family! It was full of stunning hiking trails as well as a waterfall and a lake. Fortunately for us all, we were also taking pictures at the height of fall, so the family’s backdrop is full of gorgeous natural colors. Of course, it all pales in comparison to the family’s amazing smiles!

Throughout the session, Benjamin had the time of his life running around, checking out the scenery, playing with stones, and discovering the beautiful world we live in. I was thrilled to not only capture photos of Benjamin playing and exploring but also to snap some shots of Mom and Dad getting in on the fun too with a bit of tickling and laughter. Those photos are the perfect peek into Benjamin’s personality and the family’s fun-loving dynamic.
