Zane – 6 month old baby milestone session

This bright, cheery session was so much fun! This was the sixth time I have photographed this family. Here’s their very first maternity and newborn session featuring their bundle of joy Zane – I can’t believe how much this little boy and his big (or should I say older) sister have grown since then! Zane is actually bigger than his sister Eva now—and she’s two years old! He looks up to her, trying to copy her every move. He’s even mastering all of his skills early, just like she did, and he’s already sitting up and reaching around like a champ. He’ll be crawling around before we know it.

Some babies can be shy or cranky at their six-month session. They’ve become acutely aware of their surroundings, and sometimes they take a little while to warm up to the sights and lights of the sets. But Zane has no fear, and he showed off that handsome smile of his in just about every photo! His bright blue eyes lit up the studio. After some cute pics with sister, we incorporated some fun bowls for him to sit in (this is really the only stage that babies are stable yet small enough to do that). He thought they were so much fun! 

This little man is a mover, and I caught some cute photos of him rocking on his back and sticking his wiggly toes in his mouth. When he was really happy and giggly, he would stick his little tongue out—so adorable!

Once again, I had a great time capturing this wonderful family’s sweet kiddos. I truly enjoy watching them grow from session to session and catching up with their parents. I can’t wait for their next milestone session. I have a feeling we’ll have a little explorer on our hands by then! See you soon, friends!
