Ava ~ Colorful Newborn Photos with Flowers Galore

Miss Ava was a huge surprise for her parents because she decided to come super early! But since Mom had already done her Maternity photography session with me, we had her on my calendar for her baby photography session. We just had to move up her session date so we could capture how tiny Ava was.

Here are a couple of the photographs we created during their Maternity photography session. It was snowing like crazy and I was freezing! They couldn’t believe how cold I was, as they were both just fine.

But early was the right timing for Ava as she arrived completely perfect.

Mom and Dad love color (as do I), so we went all out with this image.

I always love creating a photograph that shows just how small the baby is compared to Dad’s hands. Amazing to think that in just a few short months, Ava won’t fit inside his hands this same way.

Close up photographs are always a parent’s favorite. You get to really appreciate all the small details that make your baby so beautiful.

Ava was getting a little fussy by this point, but she settled right down when she was resting on her mother’s heart.

Mom brought in this tiny crown so it naturally became one of her favorite baby photographs.

Wrapped up all snug, Ava was happy to sleep soundly on this bed of fluff. I wanted to use one of her mom’s favorite colors, so this lavender set up was perfect.

Ava is looking a bit concerned here (I wonder what she was dreaming about. . . ), so her two friends are loving her with all their might.

And this beautiful photograph was printed as a 16 x 20 canvas for their new home. I hope they enjoy looking at what was the beginning of their family for many years to come.
