Making Your Newborn Photos Match Your Decorating Style
This family wanted bright and airy newborn photos to go along with their decorating style. So I chose a very neutral palette for their newborn photo session. This created very classic images that will fit with their current taste and will stand the test of time and any redecorating that they choose to do in the future.Babies begin to stretch out and enjoy all of their new-found space within a few weeks of leaving the womb. Getting an image like this, of him curled up exactly like he was when he was still in his Momma’s tummy, is something that you can only do with a newborn that is typically less than 14 days old. One day, this little boy is going to play with these blocks. . . chewing on them, then throwing them, then stacking them and finally spelling with them. It won’t be very long before these 5 blocks don’t span his entire torso. Kind of like a measuring stick, this family can continue to photograph their son with these same blocks as he grows to show just how small he started life and just how big he ultimately will be when he is fully grown.Ah, the best sleep he could ask for. Bathed in light, cradled in a soft bed, and covered lightly with a warm blanket. This peaceful image would be a beautiful piece of art for not only his room, but even going up the stairs, in the living room or in his playroom.
