Greyson ~ Cowboys and Superheros Newborn Photos

Mom and Dad came to me several months ago when Mom was newly pregnant. They wanted to schedule both their maternity photography session and their subsequent newborn photography session. Mom had braved the 38 degree weather to get some amazing maternity pictures so I knew she was a girl after my own heart. She was all about doing whatever needs to be done to get the best shot!

Mom loves riding horses, and she wanted to incorporate her love of that sport with her saddle and some boots that she and her family wore. I love the picture of Baby Greyson cuddled up and sleeping on his momma’s saddle. He looks so tiny and cute! The boot picture is also super adorable. I can’t get over how cute his little baby boots look next to his mom’s boots and his sweet head resting on his uncle’s.

Dad loves Superman, so he really wanted a photograph that had his baby boy in that role. His little Superman bloomers and red cape were adorable. We even added the Clark Kent glasses to the outfit. After adding some classic Superman comic books for the background, we were set! Dad absolutely loved it!

Greyson did great for the first half of his session and then, like so many boys of all ages, he decided that he was done taking photos. Mom helped me soothe him to get the last few photographs that we needed. The soothing seemed to work because we were able to get some pretty great masculine yet classic photographs of Greyson. I love the one of him laying in the piece of wood. It’s amazing how perfectly he fits into the hollowed out part of the wood as he lays in a bed of soft gray fluff. The branch bed is super cute as well. The white fluff made it just cuddly enough for this sweet boy to doze off.
