Bradley ~ Fall Family Photos on the Farm

This was an extra fun and unique family shoot! I traveled to this gorgeous small family-owned horse farm to take some fall portraits. He is a farrier (shoes horses), and the entire family rides regularly. I was a little jealous of their amazing farm life—I think it would be amazing to take my horse out on the trail every evening. What a way to unwind! The property is tucked back in the woods like something from a romantic movie. Everything was so serene and picturesque, especially in the fall with all of the bright-colored leaves and golden ferns.

Fun-Filled Shoot on the Family Farm

They have a three-year-old son named Bradley, who is the feature of these spectacular photos. He loved throwing the leaves up like confetti and giggling with glee as he watched them fall back down. He was so much fun to photograph! Even though he’s familiar with the farm, he still loves being outdoors and wanted to explore everything. Needless to say, those fun candid photos weren’t hard to come by. I love the shot of him atop a pony with his little winter hat on. He looked like a natural up there (because he is!) Mom was so sweet, and I truly enjoyed chatting a little and getting to know her.

It was pretty chilly, but with the right apparel, I could have stayed out there for hours photographing them and their charming farm. I was technically on the job, but it was so relaxing out there in the woods and on the farm. I could just get away from it all and breathe for a bit. Being around the horses felt so peaceful! I’m so glad to have had the pleasure of capturing lasting memories for this special family!
