Smiling Family Photos

Every photo session in my schedule has its own pleasures. Sometimes I get to create artistic arrangements and backgrounds to capture a specific theme. In photo sessions like this one with the lovely Nara and her doting parents, my greatest joy comes from watching the family simply enjoy some time together and capturing their memories as they’re making them.

This is actually just the latest of the memories I’ve made with the family. I’ve been working with them for over two years because I had the privilege of taking Nara’s six-month and one-year milestone photos. She’s always smiley, wide-eyed, and downright darling while her parents are so sweet and engaging that they make each session feel like a day out with friends.

Gorgeous Fall Photographs

As a family photographer in CT, one of my greatest assets is the beautiful outdoors, especially those famous Northeastern autumns. For Nara and her family’s latest photo session, the gorgeous fall leaves created the perfect atmosphere. They acted as both a background and a prop because Nara had such a great time playing in the leaves while I just snapped photos of her genuine glee.

As beautiful as the backdrop was, my favorite part of this session was watching Nara’s personality come alive. It’s been incredible to watch her grow from a sweet and mild baby to a giggly one-year-old and now an active, fun-loving little girl. Clearly, Mom and Dad’s positive natures are rubbing off on her.
